Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a musical adventure film, released in 1968 and based on Ian Fleming's novel Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang: The Magical Car. The script is by Roald Dahl and the songs by the Sherman Brothers. It was directed by Ken Hughes and produced by Albert R. Broccoli and stars Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes, Lionel Jeffries, James Robertson Justice, Robert Helpmann, Gert Fröbe, Anna Quayle, and Benny Hill and also features a cameo by Barbara Windsor.
